Since man’s desire to know the truth is part of the problem of understanding it; methods have been sought to overcome this difficulty. One technique of circumventing the blinding effects of the EGO has been by the examination of apparently contradictory expressions of the truth known as PARADOX.
Read slowly . . . then think
Reality is best understood
by the examination of Paradox
The Paradox of the Ant
Big is small,
Far is near,
Long is short,
High is low.
There are not great or unimportant ants,
But only those who discover the paradox,
And those who do not.
(Dedicated to Gautama, for freeing the ants)
There is no such thing as Truth!
So, disregard the previous statement.
There is no such thing as genius.
Unfortunately, only geniuses are aware of this.
A real artist is a person who understands
How poorly people see and hear.
I hope to live without hoping;
I wish to live without wishing;
I want to live without desiring
I am a fool who doesn’t like being foolish.
I am a human being who doesn’t like being human.
I want comfort I do not need.
I want approval I do not need.
I want acceptance I do not need.
I want; and I do not need to want.
The REAL paradox is that the human has developed
Two conflicting instincts;
One for SURVIVAL
And the other is for LOVE
This paradox of conflicting instincts is a reflection and an explanation for all group formations, and factions within groups. However, all factions have at their core the desire for LOVE and the need for SURVIVAL .
So we must unravel the mystery of LOVE and SURVIVAL.
